Wish Kid: Maile “MJ” – 7 years old, Mililani
“I wish to have a shaded and safe outdoor play area.”
MJ’s love of water balloons inspired her to wish for a backyard play area where she can safely play with her friends. Partnering with Make-A-Wish Hawaii, donors helped transform her backyard to a shaded and safe play area over the past 6 months. A new trellis, rubber playground flooring, patio cooling water misters and a synthetic lawn were installed.
