Waimanalo Health Center

Ferraro Choi is in the process of designing an expanded facility for Waimanalo Health Center. The new facility will be located on an acre adjacent to the Waimanalo Fire Station and across from Waimanalo Elementary and Intermediate School.

The new building will reflect the culture, character, and values of the Waimanalo community including the concept of Ola i ka wai a ka opua (there is life in the water from the clouds). The design blends the past and present of Waimanalo and the facility will reflect the rural character of the area while presenting itself as a modern, professional healthcare clinic for the community.

The two-story structure will include admissions areas, a pharmacy, vision clinic, pediatrics clinic, and a medical clinic integrating physicians, nurses, behavior health providers, nutritionists, and care coordinators.
